This Privacy Policy explains how BYM CLOUD ERP accesses, uses, stores, and protects data obtained from Google Calendar when a user chooses to connect their Google account to BYM CLOUD ERP.
1. Information We Access
When a user connects Google Calendar to BYM CLOUD ERP, BYM CLOUD ERP may access the following calendar-related information with the user’s consent:
– Calendar list and selected calendar information
– Calendar event titles
– Calendar event dates and times
– Calendar event identifiers
– Calendar event update and deletion status
– Synchronization metadata required to keep ERP and Google Calendar records consistent
BYM CLOUD ERP does not access Google Calendar data unless the user explicitly authorizes the connection.
2. How We Use Google Calendar Data
BYM CLOUD ERP uses Google Calendar data only for the following purposes:
– To synchronize ERP opportunity and activity records with Google Calendar events
– To create Google Calendar events from ERP records
– To update Google Calendar events when related ERP records change
– To import Google Calendar events into ERP when they contain the configured synchronization tag, such as #bym
– To prevent duplicate synchronization and maintain correct record mappings
Google Calendar data is not used for advertising, profiling, analytics resale, or unrelated business purposes.
3. Data Storage
BYM CLOUD ERP may store limited synchronization data in its secure database, including:
– Connected Google account email address
– Selected calendar identifier and name
– Calendar event identifiers
– Synchronization status
– Access and refresh tokens required to maintain the authorized connection
– Last synchronization time and error information
Access and refresh tokens are stored securely and are used only to perform calendar synchronization requested by the user.
4. Data Sharing
BYM CLOUD ERP does not sell, rent, or share Google Calendar data with third parties.
Google Calendar data is used only inside BYM CLOUD ERP for the synchronization features authorized by the user.
5. User Control and Revocation
Users can disconnect Google Calendar from BYM CLOUD ERP at any time from the calendar settings screen inside BYM CLOUD ERP.
When the connection is removed:
– BYM CLOUD ERP stops accessing the user’s Google Calendar
– New synchronization is disabled
– Stored synchronization metadata may be removed or retained only as necessary for audit, security, or system integrity purposes
Users may also revoke BYM CLOUD ERP’s access from their Google Account permissions page.
6. Data Security
BYM CLOUD ERP applies technical and organizational measures to protect connected calendar data, including access control, secure token handling, and encrypted communication over HTTPS.
Only authorized system components use Google Calendar data, and only for the calendar synchronization feature.
7. Data Retention
Google Calendar synchronization data is retained only as long as necessary to provide the integration, maintain synchronization consistency, comply with legal obligations, or support system security.
When a user disconnects the integration, BYM CLOUD ERP stops using the Google Calendar authorization for future synchronization.
8. Google API Services User Data Policy
BYM CLOUD ERP’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
